PERSONAL DISCLAIMER

Certain recipe work that was curated and created on this blog may feature certain Goya-branded items. This was prior to the now-famous incident of Goya Foods supporting the previous presidential administration and the following consumer-called boycott. Due to my own personal beliefs and reasons, I felt like this needed to be disclosed for full transparency in regards to the specific post highlighted, its content, and the content of this blog. Personally, I find that having space for duality is possible for showing growth or change about a brand and that I was once connected with on both a consumer and cultural level. While Goya Foods has indeed done great things for the Latinx community as a whole, especially with recent events due to natural disasters in Puerto Rico along with employing many, that doesn't negate the fact that their current president and CEO of the company has aligned with an administration that doesn't serve the interests of me or my community. Thank you.
